It seems like Southwest Airlines has been around forever. If you look at the history of the company, it was actually incorporated as Air Southwest Co. in 1967. Nine years later, the company was renamed Southwest Airlines Co. Time flies when you're having fun, and we all know how much fun it is to fly Southwest.
